Day 1: Saigon to Long Hai After hurrying through the Saigon streets, we leave Saigon by ferry, riding into the countryside to see a rubber plantation, cashew nut processing, and salt farms. Get away from the heat when we visit the Thoung Chieu meditation center and the Cao Dai temple. We stop for a local lunch in Baria. We then tour the Minh Dam military base, where you can trek, play with wild monkeys, view amazing scenery, and explore a top secret base from the war. We end the day at Long Hai, a traditional fishing village where you can relax along unspoiled beach and swim in the ocean. We stay in a two-star hotel in Long Hai.

Day 2: Long Hai to Mui Ne We leave Long Hai along the coast, stopping along the way to see traditional rice paper making, and Vo thi sau ‘s monument . We tour the Binh Chau hot springs, and stop to see the small fishing village and harbor of Lagi. We taste dragon fruit at a local farm, see the beautiful Kega light house, and visit a whale monument to learn more about the local culture. Finally, we visit the ancient Cham Towers to understand the history and architecture of the fascinating Cham culture, before ending with a sunset picture on the sand dunes and then checking in to Mui Ne.

 

Day 3: Mui Ne to Di Linh You have the option of riding an ostrich (extra cost). We will tour a fishing village and walk through the famous fairy stream. After, we visit a local family to see how they keep and breed the famous “con dong” Lizard, then ride on a beautiful road through desert villages to see Qua lake. We will see daily life and the culture of K’ho hill tribe during a visit their village. Stop and take a picture of spectacular views of the highland & flat land. Have a short walk to enjoy the fresh air and, scenery. In the afternoon, we tour the coffee plantation to see why Vietnam is the second biggest coffee country in the world, then visit the spectacular Li Liang waterfall, before a homestay with the local family in Di Linh.

 

Day 4: Di Linh to Dalat We tour the Di Linh local market to learn about the daily life of locals, then ride over peaceful roads to a green tea plantation and mushroom farm. We visit and have a swim in the Pongour waterfall. We visit a passion fruit farm to taste passion fruit, before having a typical Vietnamese lunch at Elephant falls. In the afternoon we tour a silk factory, have a taste of the famous weasel coffee and homemade rice wine at a local family plantation, and see a flower farm. We arrive in beautiful Dalat around 5pm.

 

Day 5: Dalat to Nha trang We visit the highlights of Dalat city, including the crazy house, train station, Dalat old quarter, and Linh Phouc pagoda. We then head to the Chicken Village to learn more about the traditional clothing of the Chil & Ma hill tribes. We’ll relax and enjoy the breath-taking vistas and nature of the Central Highlands on the Khanh Vinh pass. Then we see the daily life of local on their rice paddy and stop for views and pictures of beautiful mountain . We ‘ll end our unforgetful trip around 4pm in Nha trang
